It was actually pretty refreshing to do a couple of sketch commissions this weekend. I suppose sometime soon I'll post them (still finishing one up then I will explode forth with art.) I forgot it's sometimes fun to sit and draw on demand, though only when the mood strikes. If only I could time that mood with conventions. ;]
I did do some sketching for myself this weekend too, and behind the cut thingy is one quick piece. Not safe for work, toddlers and grandmothers. Well, I don't know, maybe your grandma's into that kind of thing.

"I'll Sub For You"
I think I'll try and sell these two instead of hang onto them until the next con. So if anyone's interested in taking them home, here's the deal:
Due to some odd behaviour at Furbid, I'm not using them as an auction site any longer.
I'm trying another method. Basically, just email me (don't comment, email blackteagan@gmail.com) what you'd pay for the piece, with the minimum bid of $43 (which includes shipping to anywhere.) Whoever bids the highest, gets to take them home for that price. If more than one person emails me the same price, it goes to the first person bidding that price who's email I received. I will not accept any more bids after this Friday (so you have until 11:59pm US-Mountain Time on Friday to drop me a note.) So, for example, just email me and say: "I will pay $XX for that piece." On Saturday, I'll email the highest bidder, and if that falls through, I'll move down the line to the next person, etc etc. Simple? Yes. :] PayPal is the easiest for me, blah blah blah. If there's any questions, feel free to email me, too.
Oh, what else? Spring is definitely in the air here. The last couple of days its been sunny and warm. We renewed our Denver Zoo membership, so we've been hanging out there a bit when we're looking for an excuse to get out of the house. All work and no play is very boring indeed. The dogs are dumb, as usual. Work is nice and steady. Dinner was fantastic and the wine was perfect. All in all, I'd say life is pretty grand. :]

Or if not here, make a super simple page that just has name - last bid updated on it? Maybe make the auction more successful. :)

Actually do post how the auction thing works out. Not that I'm at all sure I'll ever try to sell anything but it would be interesting to have a couple of models if I ever do feel the urge.

Ack!
That was me. For some reason lj has been logging me out when I go to comment lately and I usually don't notice.March 13 2007, 15:14:41 UTC 5 years ago
and Second, your in Denver? Thats....So weird? I've only known now, before now anyway, one other furry here. o__O thats so cool.
The weather has let up recently, for my birthday back on the 7th it was nice enough for my buds and I to head up and BBQ at Bear Creek with my two dogs. :D So it was fun!
Though that really weird rain spell we had a few days back confuzzled me to no end. :-I hmph. these mountains mess with the weather in weird ways I guess.
Anywho, have a good one man, good luck selling that peice, if I had the extra cash I'd certainly buy it.

Prints?
I can't afford the original (pool college kid is me!) but a print would be lovely. Could you maybe do a run of prints, pretty please? I adore the emotion in this piece!March 14 2007, 14:46:58 UTC 5 years ago
